London Thistles won the 1930 McCutcheon Cup, the city championship series.

1931

Southwestern Ontario Soccer League

A new Southeastern Soccer League was formed in 1931. Members were London Carlings, London C.N.R., London C.P.R. Beavers, London Thistles, Ontario Hospital (London), St. Thomas United, Sarnia Imperials and Woodstock City.

The season opened on May 2, 1931. Results: Ontario Hospital 3 (H. Nelson, Archie Wright, R. Combs), St. Thomas United 0 at London; London Thistles 6 (Boyd 3, Young 2, Whitelaw), London C.P.R. 1 (J. Stephens).
